Title: Advertisements on NBA jerseys

..will be introduced starting in 2013-'14 in the form of a 2.5 inch patch.

Not sure what to make of this. I guess it was only a matter of time?

Extra money for the league. No real positive trade-off for the fan in the works as of right now, i.e. cheaper ticket prices, less commercials.

Thoughts?

I'm pissed.  It cheapens the game in my eyes.  I'm a huge NBA fan but this will bother me when watching the games.

Eventually will look like the eurotards with so many advertisements that you can't even find the team names.

Thats fucked, The Australian league has been doing this since it started, One company on the back jersey, one on the front, looks disgusting.
The NBA will eventually have ads on the court as well.
