Somebody here who knows this better than I can maybe answer this - can getting your back stronger than what you body is capable of lifting on it own lead to imbalances that could leave one more susceptable to injury?
I'm asking because a lot of injuries I've seen get chalked up to impblances - hammy/quad, etc....
That discussion of imbalances is opening up a whole nother can of worms though...
IMO, your comment is correct, except in the concept of back:forearm strength, it doesn't really matter because a huge imbalance here ultimately is not really going to affect your biomechanics.
Now if we're talking quads:hammies, pecs:external rotators....ABSOLUTELY imbalances are something to be aware of.
