The police give permission for Koran burning in central Malmö


The police have granted permission for a Koran burning on Friday at Gustavs Adolfs Torg in Malmö.

- We cannot deny it, says the police's commanding officer Per Engström.

According to TT, the same people have applied to carry out another Koran burning at Rosengård on Sunday.

Behind the application are two people who have carried out Koran burnings in the past.

The police are prepared, says Per Engström, commanding officer for the national special event that the police have running during Eurovision week in Malmö. He adds that one must "make sure that this proceeds as calmly as possible".

The Police will cordon off each side behind barricades so probably nothing will happen. Unless there's one maniac with nothing to lose, someone mentally ill, but most have something to lose...

I think it speaks well for Sweden that they allow Koran burnings, very well, I just wish they would burn the Talmud at the same time... there's been a lot of talk about outlawing the burning of the Koran, but so far it hasn't happened. Paradoxically, though in some sense not, the Jews are the loudest in calling for outlawing these things. So far it's not even illegal to discuss the Hall-of-Cost, but it's coming for certain...

I know there are a few of these "Nazi" guys in my gym, they put up some stickers in the elevator, my training partner was at some pool party with these guys, although he's probably pro-Jew, he doesn't read so he hasn't been exposed to any other viewpoints.

I don't go to nationalistic demonstrations nor am I involved in nationalist gangs too old for that. And also I realized long time ago that because it's such a rejected group in society it tends to attract bad people like criminals etc. I prefer not to be around that enviroment.

I think Sweden should be for Swedish people(largely) and I agree with alot of their viewpoints naturally... but I'm not going to waste my life for "the cause". Swedish people has to realize things for themselves what's going on and see things for what they are it's not my mission or responsibility.

The sheeple, no matter what color, follow whoever has power. That's why any authentic pro European party or movement has been systematically destroyed since decades(especially the 80ies were a hot spot era).
