Raiders and Bills Fans Must Be Vaxxed

Las Vegas Raiders and Buffalo Bills football teams are now requiring proof of vaccination.  And the Bills will not accept a photo of the vax card!

This- the lion's share of  the money is in broadcast rights and licensing deals anyways. They could have an empty stadium and still make a fortune.

The question is whether or not the crowd helps with ratings. It would seem that an empty stadium makes the game less watchable,  resulting in lower ratings and smaller tv deals going forward.

Eventually if people stopped watching, the ad's would not be renewed, they would lose money.
But people will watch, in front of their TV, stuffing their fat-faces, guzzling beer/booze (maybe even groin-gravy.

I didn't even realize Redsox season started 'til I decided to go on heir page, and saw they were 50-games into it already.
Shows how removed I am from Sports.

I do like Hockey, and watch the Bruins 5-minute highlite-reels on YT after every game (the following AM. (Condensed game highlights).
But havent sat down and watched a game in a decade...

Im sure they'll ruin NHL soon as well, but glad I dont care anymore. I like watching the old hockey-fights on YT...

I watched some of the Raider-Ravens game.  Weird looking field.

Could have been CGI.

They could do that but there is something to be said for the crowd feel. I haven’t watched pro sports in ages and frankly I don’t miss it at all. Football in particular is very easy to avoid as it’s only one day a week for the most part. Find something else to do on Sunday afternoon a few months out of the year.

exactly....the answer has always been to stop watching.  I never really watched much football to begin with, but I haven't seen a game in probably 7 or 8 years and don't even notice that it's gone from my life.  To me the pinnacle of human physical ability has always been fighting sports, which is the only type of sports I watch.  1 on 1, nobody to blame if you lose.

I always found it weird that the steroids in sports thing focused so hard on baseball when the entire NFL is clearly using anabolics, save for maybe a few of the kickers.

You could make a killing selling fake vax cards outside of the stadium.  $3 for a pack of 100 index cards and you can sell them for $50 each depending on how desperate the football fan is.

There is no way to verify the information on them. Make up a good pharmacy name batch number off the internet. Simple.

It’s already here. The only reason for the card is that not everyone has an iPhone.
