Why are you selling vitamins and supplements?

The thing people don't understand about selling vitamin is that the average amount you make is about 2-3 dollars a sale.  This site will give be around 1.50 - 2.00 a sale.  However, people will buy that same vitamin every month and when you build up a customer base then you bring in a large amount of residual income for practically doing nothing but keeping the website operational.  You make your money off repeat sales from a large customer base.  That's something you can't do selling exercise and medical equipment.

This site doesn't have any real expenses because I did most of the work myself.  Here's a breakdown of what I spent.

Website Design & Logo. 4.99 euro (one time purchase)
Go Daddy SSL certificate - 12.99 a year ( I buy a 5 pack SSL for 89.99 a year)
Dedicated IP...- 24.00 a year

So I'll easily made my money back and then some.  Too many people are spending money to companies for these generic supplement site.  You take a bit of time, load up your own products and you're in a much better position to make money

Vince you should use Conan Labs for something bigger. Like its own line of products/protein. Conan labs is a good name and its short(which is really good). Ashame the name is being wasted for this venture. Conan Labs is a powerful name. The logo should also be powerful.

It depends on the manufacturer terms and conditions.  Some require you to purchase a quantity of products while others will ship directly to your customers.  I rent out a portion of a warehouse facility to stock those products.  

In addition, I also have to look at making more money stocking an item rather than dropshipping.  For example Europa Sportscharges 9.95 for every dropship order but if you buy a quantity of product and you ship it out separately, then you're going to spend a lot less on your shipping..to which you can either lower the sales price of your item or pocket the difference.  I keep a Stamps.com account and a weight scale in my home along with padded manilla envelopes from Sam's club.  I print a label, put the vitamins in the padded envelope and drop it in a box.  Usually the cost of shipping is about $1.75 using First Class Postage and an extra 30 cents for Delivery Confirmation.

Actually Ron was going to give them to me back in 2007.  But I declined them as I felt that I wanted to do more contest to have more meaning to it.  Plus I wasn't attending the Arnold to meet him although I ended up meeting him at the Olympia that year.... There's been a lot of people who have created threads demanding for me to get blue stars but I've never pursued it or cared much about them because I'm already considered an industry figure.  I'm more recognized then most IFBB pros so why would I care....here's part the email below.
