So sick of seeing this pink shit everywhere. There are dozens of forms of cancer so why does this get top billing for a full month? The dumbest thing too is that breast cancer is not even in the top 3 major causes of death for women. Number 1 is heart disease, then stroke and cervical cancer.
You have to wonder how much fucking money this breast cancer charity collects each year and who is pocketing and profiting from it. Despite all the 10's of billions of dollars it's collected over the decades they're still using the same old mammogram to detect it. Nothing else has changed yet more woman will die from heart attacks each year and you'll never hear a single thing about a heart disease charity.

Got stuck with a bright pink wheelbarrow for about a year as the builders merchant I use was promoting this at precisely the time I needed a new one and for that month they only sold pink ones. The cancer awareness sticker fell off in days so after that it wa just a gay looking pink wheelbarrow that everyone looked and laughed at on every job we were on.

If people want to start an awareness month about X, then start it. Engage in advocacy and awareness efforts and see what happens. Start a grassroots movement.

Ever noticed how Charities for the Cure are now called Cancer Research? When you say Cure people expect results. Calling it research is an endless timeline of fleecing people for cash.
