Should he retire?

Should he come back stronger?

I'm shocked by his placement. Obviously, he wasn't in great condition - the judges are not that blind to regulate someone to the back of the pack because of controversy. Look at Shawn Ray. He ALWAYS ragged on the judges - IN THEIR FACE - and they still judged him on the merit.

So Let's not blame the judging. What should Chris do with his future?

You guys are funny. Chris is one of the best bodybuilders in the world, but on any given day anyone can be beaten if they are not prepared.(i.e. Mike Tyson & Buster D.) Truth of the matter is Chris was unmotivated and NOT PREPARED. Should he retire @ 38yrs old no. Should he have his ass kicked for coming in like that Absolutely, & 13th is quite an ass kicking. One thing I know about the guy is he does the impossible. Just when you think he is down he comes back in spades when most punk asses will QUIT.

One thing I have learned that is true in all sports "If you shut your frickin' mouth and do the work the results will come". You never hear Ronnie, Jay, the Patriots or the Spurs for that matter talkin' shit. Champions have a silent confidence about them that why the are where they are.

I don't think Chris gives a shit at all about the O. I think he has basically thrown in the towel. That last runner-up finish at the ASC was it for him. I think he even stated that he won't compete in that contest anymore. I think he is just going through the motions- even more than he did in the past.

Yeah, he is just showing up because it is his job and knows that he won't stay under contract if he doesn't compete. The problem is that if he continues to place so low he won't get his contract renewed anyway.

It has been alledged that Chris Cormier has a recreational drug problem.At this point he should take a retrospective look at things and figure out what's important to him. Whatever his issue's are, it's definitely having an adverse look on him physically.Chris looks about 50 and his physique is a shadow of it's former self,reminiscent of Nasser.At one point he was ranked one of the sport's elite,now he's placing a lowly 13th or 14th in the big one. Chris is a great bb, but first he has to realize that. $:-\$

He should just stop.....before his name as a great BB falls into the mud....and he remeber as the fall of something that could have been.

The question is what does he have to fall back on. If he falls out of the sport ,endorsements and comp money like Muscle Tech will end. I have never seen the Business side Chris ever. except for thowing parties, have those been successful for him.
