240 - just admit it - it looks like shit for him to keep partying. Drinking, golfing, dancing, etc like this.

it looked like shit for Clinton to mouth-fk a fatty and nut on the oval office desk.
it looked like shit for reagan to show senility as early as 1984.
it looked like shit for Marilyn Monroe to be anywhere near teh white hosue.

it looked like shit on a lot of things.  if a president is doing his job and managzing situations to the best of his ability, I don't care if he's jerking off with baby seal tears.  Fix the country, period.

He's not fixing a damn thing.

In the case of libya, INaction is the best course of action.

Don't get involved.  He'll kill tens of thousands of uprising rebels, and oil will drop back down.  it jumped from $90 to 107 in the first 10 days of the uprising, and has started to decline since he started cracking skulls.

Besides, if the uprising was in the USA, and 50,000 armed libs were trying to kick president Christie out of office in 2013, I'm guessing you'd support carpet bombing the whole crowd, right? lol  it's all in the point of view you have.

Do you think things are turning around?

shit no.  i've had Crash proof in my shitter for a few years now.  I was investing in other things which you bought your guns n ammo at 2009 prices, having gotten mine in 2007.  I was an alex jones listener in 2005, and while I grew tired of the cadillac ads on his home page as he talks about the need to stop the big companies from running the country, I agree with him that everyone in office is lying and POS.

I'm not a complete moron, I just play one on the interwebs.

A truly great President wouldn't have to do much work at all besides give speeches.  He should be able to delegate everything to a highly intelligent, competent, and loyal Vice President, staff, and cabinet.....oh wait.... he doesn't have that.

PGA producer: Obama golfs a lot
By: Patrick Gavin
December 29, 2010 09:29 AM EST Updated: December 29, 2010 09:58 AM EST

________________________ ________________________ _____

Few seem to begrudge President Obama the occasional golf outing (presidents needs to unwind, right?). But John Kim, a producer for PGA.com (the PGA Tour runs the primary men's professional golf tours in North America), took to Twitter Tuesday night to ding POTUS for excessive golfing.

In response to learning of Obama's 50-plus rounds of golf since taking office, Kim wrote, "that's more than me! But then again, my job is ... golf. Wait, that doesn't seem right."

And, later: "the old adage is: those who work in golf never get to play. Guess I need to run for President to hit the links!"

No Statement by Golfing Obama on Tornadoes That Killed Dozens Across South
Monday, April 18, 2011 | Kristinn

Posted on Monday, April 18, 2011 12:53:41 PM by kristinn

As of noon Monday, Barack Obama has failed to make a public or written statement on the massive tornado outbreak that pummeled the South this past weekend, killing 43 Americans and wrecking hundreds of homes and businesses. Also, there was no mention on the White House Web site about the tornadoes.

Instead, Obama played his 64th round of golf Sunday.

However, Obama did take time to make a private phone call to Gov. Bev Perdue of the politically key state to his reelection bid and host of his 2012 Democratic National Convention, North Carolina. Gov. Perdue announced the call, claiming Obama pledged "whatever it takes to rebuild North Carolina."

There was no readout by the White House about the call.

No worries though. The Obama media refused to call Obama out on this.

The Washington Times is the only news outlet that mention Obama's golf outing.

The White House Dossier blog also noted Obama's public silence this morning.

The lack of a public statement on the torndaoes by the White House was first noted on Free Republic last night.

President Obama recently returned from a six event fundraising blitz to California where he raised millions of dollars for his reelection campaign. At these events president Obama hobnobbed and rubbed shoulders with celebrities like Jamie Foxx, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell, and Steven Spielberg. On Wednesday President Obama held a town hall style event at Facebook headquarters hosted by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. At these events Obama stressed that his election in 2008 was not as "smooth" as people remember and that the election, "[W]asn't about big crowds and nice posters. And it wasn't even about me. It was about commitments we made to each other as Americans, about who we are and what we care about."

Yesterday President Obama flew from Los Angeles back to Washington, arriving at Andrews Air Force Base around 4:15 PM. The President returned to Andrews AFB today not to set off for a new destination, but for a round of golf. Here is the pool report as posted on GretaWire:

April 23, 2011
President is playing golf at Andrews

Despite sprinkles just before we left the White House, the president is playing golf at Andrews AFB. Motorcade left the White House at 12:32 p.m. and arrived at Andrews at 12:56 p.m. Ben Finkenbinder, David Katz and Marvin Nicholson round out the foursome. Pool holding at base exchange and will evidently see nothing of the game.

::) I work for a large advertising company. The president of our company plays every warm weekend. He often works until 10 pm during the week. It's not that hard to believe that someone could do 25 rounds of golf a year and still be productive career-wise.

So do I, the largest in our city.

Our president's job is taxing.  But it's 1/100th that of the POTUS.  It's not a good comparison.

Bush was slapping fannies on Olympic volleyballers

Serious question:

Was he doing this halfway through his first term in the middle of one of the worst economic crisis our country has faced, or late in his lame duck phase?

Close The weather team at corporate sibling WJLA Wednesday night confirmed a tornado touched down around the golf course at Andrews Air Force Base.

"There were three reported tornadoes for our region in less than 3 hours," said the StormWatch7 weather blog, as news outlets reported that scores of people in the South had been killed in storms. "That's pretty damn insane. It looks like Tornadogeddon 2011 has lived up to its name."

No word on the extent of damage, if any, to the president's favorite local links.

Obama golfs while troops hunt Osama bin Laden
washingtontimes.com ^ | May 2, 2011
Posted on May 2, 2011 10:17:45 PM EDT by Tailgunner Joe

Capturing Sept. 11 terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden has been the nation’s top national-security priority for 10 years, but carrying out the final kill didn’t stop President Obama from playing golf on Sunday. In a tiny concession to his job requirements as commander in chief, Mr. Obama cut his golf game short by nine holes in order to get back to the White House to monitor the final moments as Navy SEALs killed bin Laden in Pakistan.

The plan to capture (or kill) bin Laden at his fancy compound in a suburban Islamabad neighborhood had been in the works for months. Mr. Obama gave final approval for the mission on Friday morning, April 29. The mission was planned for Saturday but was delayed by one day because of weather.

On Sunday, with the small team of Navy SEALs en route to the Pakistan compound, the commander in chief left the White House at 9:42 a.m. and arrived at Andrews Air Force Base golf course at 10:06 a.m. He played golf in the chilly, rainy D.C. weather until he finished the ninth hole. He departed the base at 1:39 p.m.

Mr. Obama has played 66 rounds of golf in the 27 months he has been president. He usually plays 18 holes with a foursome of White House aides, which takes him about four to five hours. The last time the president cut his golf round in half and played only nine holes was Aug. 25, 2010. (He played 12 holes on Dec. 28 at the private Mid Pacific Country Club in Kailua Hawaii because he started late in the afternoon and the sun was setting.)

While the president was playing golf, the highly-trained U.S. special forces were en route to bin Laden’s fortified compound.

President Obama left the White House this morning a little after 9:30 am. He wasn’t on his way to the Capitol building, where grieving friends and families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty hold a yearly commemorative service. Though he was invited to recognize the fallen and offer condolences by speaking at the annual Peace Officers’ Memorial Service, he instead spent this fine Sunday playing a round of golf with aide Ben Finkenbinder, White House trip director Marvin Nicholson and U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk. Every president deserves down time.

Obama Goes Golfing on Memorial Day
 White House Dossier ^ | 5-20-2011 | Keith Koffler

The business of memorializing our war dead done, President Obama headed out to the Fort Belvoir golf course today, finding his way onto the links for the ninth weekend in a row.

Obama earlier today laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and met with families of those killed in battle. But he emerged from the day’s solemnity to go golfing for the 12th time this year and the 70th time of his presidency.

The decision to golf on Memorial Day invites comparison with President George W. Bush, who gave up the game early in his presidency and said he did it out of respect for the families of those killed in Iraq.

Obama is out with the three younger aides he typically has in tow on his golf excursions, junior White House staffer Ben Finkenbinder, White House Trip Director Marvin Nicholson, and Energy Department staffer David Katz.

In a sign of his determination to play no matter what, Obama is golfing even though it is currently 95 degrees at Fort Belvoir and it “feels like” it’s 98 degrees, according to The Weather Channel.

Barack Obama's decision to play golf on Memorial Day was disrespectful and hardly presidential

Barack Obama has played golf 70 times (Photo: AFP)

Can you imagine David Cameron enjoying a round of golf on Remembrance Sunday? It would be inconceivable for the British Prime Minister to do so, and not just because of the usually dire weather at that time of the year. Above all, it would be viewed as an act of extremely bad taste on a day when the nation remembers and mourns her war dead. I can’t imagine the PM even considering it, and I’m sure his advisers would be horrified at the idea. And if the prime minister ever did play golf on such a sacrosanct day he would be given a massive drubbing by the British press, and it would never be repeated.

Contrast this with President Obama’s decision to play golf yesterday, Memorial Day, for the 70th time during his 28-month long presidency. For tens of millions of Americans, Memorial Day is a time for remembrance of the huge sacrifices made by servicemen and women on the battlefield. The president did pay his respects in the morning, laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery, but later in the day traveled to Fort Belvoir to play golf. The story has not been reported so far in a single US newspaper, but was made public by veteran White House correspondent Keith Koffler on his blog. Here’s Koffler’s report:

The business of memorializing our war dead done, President Obama headed out to the Fort Belvoir golf course today, finding his way onto the links for the ninth weekend in a row.

Obama earlier today laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and met with families of those killed in battle. But he emerged from the day’s solemnity to go golfing for the 12th time this year and the 70th time of his presidency.

The decision to golf on Memorial Day invites comparison with President George W. Bush, who gave up the game early in his presidency and said he did it out of respect for the families of those killed in Iraq.

Does it matter if the president chooses to play golf on Memorial Day, and for the second time in his presidency (he did so as well in 2009)? I think it does, and it displays extraordinarily bad judgment, not only by Obama himself but also by his advisers. His chief of staff for example should have firmly cautioned against it. President Obama is not just any American but Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces. The United States is currently engaged in a major war in Afghanistan with over 100,000 troops on the ground, and more than 1,500 have already laid down their lives for their country.

The least the president can do on Memorial Day is spend the whole day with veterans and servicemen’s families while acknowledging their sacrifice. As Koffler points out above, President George W. Bush stopped playing golf out of respect for the families of Iraq War dead. This demonstrated not only good judgment but humility and respect for the men and women who keep America safe. It is little wonder that, as Gallup reveals in a new poll, US military personnel and veterans give Barack Obama lower marks for his job performance than members of the general public. The president’s actions smack of poor taste, as well a lack of empathy and support for the US military, hardly the kind of leadership the White House should be projecting at a time of war.

I think he should be attacked for it.    The far t goons attacked bush for it saying "how could he play golf in a time of war" and guess what?  Bush stopped playing golf in deference to the troops.

Sadly - even on memorial day - Obama feels no such compunction.
