Burnley and Oldham...horrific.

TBH this country is destroyed by classes. The North still reeling from the industrial collapse from many decades ago.

We have the clean cut image of a very civilised nation to the outside, but the reality of it is a large percentage of our population is living hand to mouth and is rather forgotten about by the elite.

Is it any coincidence that these areas have large pakistani populations?

They tend to settle in already shitty poorer areas due to cost of living and also as they have a high reliance on social housing.

Which makes already shitty areas even worse. Tower Hamlets in London is a good example.

Last time I checked with an old northern friend who just moved out of Oldham is that it was overrun with gypsies now too.

Funniest shit ever when our PM's predicted that 60,000 new entrants from eastern Europe would turn up in  2005. 600,000 moved in  ;D
