Glad there's a thread on this - thanks Herne for keeping this rolling

-----

If one of the objectives - even subconscious - for people voting 'Leave' was to reduce/control immigration, one of the unintended but entirely predictable results of Brexit was a change from 'white' immigrants to immigrants of colour.  Viz:

UK farmers turn to Nepal and Tajikistan for fruit pickers

Every spring thousands of seasonal workers come to harvest the UK's soft fruits, but this year they're coming from much further afield.

Before Brexit many came from Poland, Romania and Bulgaria.  Now as well as Nepalese, UK growers are employing Indonesian, Mongol, Tajik, Kazakhs and Kyrgyz workers.

I'm not bothered either way, but I think this might rub some people up the wrong way... ;D

what other benefits have brexit brought to the UK ?

You're asking the wrong person, my friend.  I'm pro-Europe all the way, with a special interest in how this is all beginning to affect science funding and collaboration (hint: not positively :()

Eaxctly.

It will have the opposite effect.

Immigrants from Pakistan and India will keep arriving in similar numbers while European immigrants go down.

Personally I think its far to early to make profound judgements about
leaving the EU
As the EU didn't go from Zero to what it is Now in a Couple of Years
many seem to forget that.

Also There are Plenty of thing dictatorial & wrong with the EU
It's not all the The Yellow Brick Road.

and The fact that our own Government is against the white Uk People & cannot be trusted at all. Traitors.

Plus Uk was Being Fucked over Every day by the EU anyway.

British people could freely move, live, work, study, buy property and receive state medical care in 27 European countries.

Not anymore.
