Farmers walk... Grip, cardio, hamstrings, lower back, traps, etc... A good exercise, but of course Crossfit thinks they own/invented it..
There is some crossfit place near my work and at lunch I'll see these shits running down the street. Recently I see both guys and gals walking around the block holding a pair of dumbbells. Other than helping your grip, what is the purpose?I see this one douche who must be trying to be the alpha of his gay troop carrying what looked to be 60-70 pound dumbbells in each hand. He would take 3 to 4 steps then put them down and try again, over and over and over. It looked like his arms were about to rip off his body. He wasn't doing lunges or anything, he just couldn't take more than a few steps with that weight before resting them on the sidewalk. This shit is just hilarious.
Like any gym you have beginners to elite crossfit trainers. I don't crossfit but a lot of bodybuilders would be embarrassed trying to keep up with the guys who are dedicated crossfit trainers. They would leave with their tail between their legs.
And you put a crossfitter under 405 and he'll be leaving in an ambulance...what's your point ?Apples and Oranges.
I can still pull 450....and squat 375....over 40yrs old chief. Best squat was 500 and have a vid of me pulling 505 for two.Yes Joe...we know.
screw "crossfit" just join the army, there will be hips of physicall activities & international tourism (if U a lucky)

Depends on who you're referring to. The average CFer who's not going to the Regionals or the Games? Sure. But most average people in the gym couldn't get under 220, what's your point?
70s? Hell when I want to do weighted dips I have to carry the 100s across the gym. And when I'm done, put them back.. 70s would be like a break.
