Your original statement was that it was the best game ever when it came out, and I was dumb for suggesting otherwise. Now you admit the flaws and say you didn't even play it until 3 years after it debuted.
This is real point. You like the games, and that's fine. Games are all subjective, and and it's really only the end user's personal thoughts that count. Nothing wrong with that.
But, all that other stuff about the consoles ruining PC gaming and stuff are bunk. PC gaming got destroyed by all the bootlegging and hacking within it's own community. That's why developers like Crytek jumped to consoles.
Rage should be cool - but you're going to see it plays more like a console game.......
And it was the best game ever, no game is without flaws, this game didn't rly have technical flaws though. I chose to play the game 3 years later because no 3dcard previous to 8800gtx could play the game with good settings and keep 40 frames, I could play it with insane graphic settings and have constant 60fps, that's why.
And the piracy is not a big deal. Crysis sold millions of copies world wide, and still doing it, pc gameing is here to stay sory.
And John Carmack is loyal to pc gamers, but even he has to follow the cash. If rage has mediocre graphics like call of duty modern warfare has in pc (because it's ported from console), then it's because of the consoles own crapyness, not pc's. John Carmack has stated clearly that PC's are much better choise for gameing experience, but ofcourse if he can make 10milj more, why should he consentrate on PC gameing to be "loyal "
Gears of War in pc ---> 10 times bigger, more maps, more inside material for the fans, 10 times better graphics, but fucking SHITY ass port from console to pc and that's the ONLY reason why any game would suck at pc.
PC is the way to play FPS games, that's just the way it is no matter how consoles are taking over, pc gaming is here to stay.
Now they're making crysis to consoles, but guess how much shityer... even quake 4 in xbox360 had much lower textures than the PC version and it has serious frame rate problems while pc could rape the game with 1000x better graphics. It jsut shows that cosnoles can't do shit. A good pc game is never the same in console.
