i see it used a lot on here and it just doesn't seem to make any sense 75% of the time.

first, if you are a male, you must weigh a minimum of 180lbs to declare a Meltdown.  That is the most basic rule.

 A meltdown generally means that someone has gotten unreasonably upset about something. A stricter definition is that someone must demonstrate that they are in a state of mind that is significantly different than the one they post under most of the time. The anger they display should be evident to all.

No, you just meet the first requirement.  See, poor Lucius only weighs 160lbs, so his declaration doesn't qualify at all.  But it still must meet the other requirements, ie...the person starts threatening to fly somewhere and beat somebody up, etc.... just follow a Rhino thread and you will see.
