Totally correct. In the early days it was a subculture, beefcake magazines and a few guys that not too many everyday people ever thought about. Then it went mainstream: network coverage (ESPN, CBS) and magazines visible to the whole world on every newsstand. Now it is totally a niche subculture again, even though many or more people (especially women) are actually involved in it.

Hole hell - I am quite not informed, but from my view  - Nasser's quads were bigger (and more cut) and waist as tight as it always sort of used to be which is a huge stage plus. His top was comparably good too and didn't lose from the front. His back did not look bad until Dorian did his Dorian thing, but it was still strong and held up.

Maybe should have won, wasn't there, haven't seen all the shots, but holy hell:

Nasser was a beast.

Shawn never was. You can make the case that Shawn should've been the bodybuilding ideal but how they judged IFBB contests Shawn was NEVER close to Dorian. Dorian admitted Nasser could match or beat him in some front poses but no match from the side and like Shawn said he was just dreadful from the back a completely different bodybuilder. His fans will down play it but he no where near the same force from the back like Dillett
