Too bad. A friend of mine competed in his first pro show at the Legacy in Palm Springs and said that it was an extremely well ran show, treated the competitors very well even giving them complete warm-up apparel.

It looked like there was 70-80 people tops in attendance in the crowd.

Too bad. A friend of mine competed in his first pro show at the Legacy in Palm Springs and said that it was an extremely well ran show, treated the competitors very well even giving them complete warm-up apparel.
They had a big amateur contest, but oddly, the finals were on Sunday night. The night venue, at the showroom in the casino, was very nice. The expo at the Palm Springs convention center was not terribly well attended either by vendors or patrons.
It looks like the contest is being repackaged, renamed, and will be in Long Beach at the end of September:
