Freddie roach made a statement that if manny loses tomorrow he wants him to retire from the sport! I am not sure why manny didn't want to fight Bradley again instead of marquez! I think Freddie realizes that the mayweather/pacquiao fight will never happen! pacquiao/Mayweather would be as big as frazier/ali or Tyson/Holyfield. That would by 3grand ringside easily. Is wayweather really scarred? I find that hard to believe! That would be a huge pay-day for both fighters. I know mayweather wants 60/40 split but other options have been mentioned that would give him 60/40 if he won the fight. loser would take 40% that has been talked about yet he still does not want to fight manny. If Manny wins who else is there to fight besides Bradley again wich manny would win. Mayweather is the only answer. lets see how tomorrow goes.

Fighting Marquez is a bigger fight than a Bradley rematch because his fights against Marquez have been close, the Bradley fight he won by a country mile, every pundit worldwide had him winning by 7/8 rounds. One of the most corrupt and embarrassing decisions in boxing history.
They said on news here(UK) yesterday that negotiations had reopened for for the Pac/FMJ , Pac was shown saying he had agreed to take a lower cut in the purse and to Mayweather's blood test demands.

This has nothing to do with a drug test, it has to do with the erosion of Manny's skills, especially he ability to produce a knockout, which he couldn't do against Bradley. That's what FMW looks test demands.

Honestly I will not put money on anybody tonight because I think is going to be another close decision.
Maybe I am leaning more to Marquez because I do not think the judges will give another close decision to Manny.

That's the problem they keep milking the same fighters for the same re-matches to the point where nobody has a clue to who will win. Just like the UFC, the same fighters over and over and keep calling it the main event. But I still have a feeling Pacquiao might win this one.

Floyd beat a very fat Marquez at a new weight, Floyd is taller and rangier,plus he is faster, he forced Marquez in to pressing and his attributes won him the fight. End of. Floyd has Marquez, bad style match up, fucking b level ::) But he has now acclimatized to the weight far better, in his defence.
Pac's skills are just fine, he has never matched up well with Marquez and was actually doing very well in this fight, he walked on to a peach of a punch. Glad for Marquez he has had a very raw deal in this series.

What boxing need right now more than ever is 2 warriors who fight with no fear looking to knock out the opponent for a legendary status in the sport , just like happened yesterday.
The way this 2 warriors fought yesterday reminded me the same mentality Hagler vs Hearns had in their great bout with a KO ending similar to Hearns vs Duran.
Pacquiao is a warrior and was taken out like a warrior by another warrior like Marquez.
Pacquiao knew that Marquez was is most formidable opponent and he choose to fight him instead of safe rematch against a soft puncher like Bradley. I have more respect for Pacquiao now than ever because of that !
Pacquiao and Marquez have that old school mentality of boxers who fight for a legendary status in the sport.
The fight of last night is going to be remebered as one of the greatest fight ever in boxing history because of the ending and the caliber of the protagonist of the encounter. I just witnessed yesterday what I consider stuff of legends.
Floyd instead is a greedy man and a cherrypicker trash talker afraid to lose and be beaten by dangerous opponents.
No matter the loss in their record Pacquiao and Marquez are now legends and will be remembered as legends in the future for their great rivalarie and courage displayed in their career!

Oh hell nah. He's a great fighter but not a top ten great. Those 8 division championships are misleading-for one there are too many belts, he beat belt holders not "champions' and he fought them at catch weights.
Pacquiao isn't better than Mayeather(who also is not a top 10 all-time great) and he's arguably not better than Marquez. That's 2 guys in his own era who will go down as better boxers than him. Throw in Hearns, Duran, Leonard, Armstrong, Ali,Robinson, Pryor, Arguello, hell a shit load of other fighters I can't even think of right now and Pac's waaaaaaay down the list.
He's one of the best of his era-and that's pretty damn good still. But far from top 10.
