the previous owners for some reason removed this plaster beam thing in the corner of the ceiling
now it looks all fucked with 3 sides of the ceiling having the beam thing and on one side it's ripped off and the ceiling paper is even coming off because of this
what would you advise?
a couple of angles of what you want to show could be a help
are you asking how to put up a baseboard/crown molding to fill in the missing peice?
looks like a very simple job , you might even find studs behined the dry wall to screw a new baseboard to fit
you might be at a loss trying to match the pattern but home depot has a few patterns, but you can either glue it with liquid nails caulking or like i said if you can find some studs to screw it in do that instead
if you use screws you want to counter-sink the baseboard and drill a hole through the baseboard first if your paranoid about splitting the baseboard with a screw, but do countersink so when you screw it in the screw itself doesnt split the wood and the head of the screw wont stand out like a sore thumb
