Title: What is your Best and worst Body part ?
Post by: Donny on November 14, 2012, 08:58:43 AM
My best is chest and although i do not Bench super heavy and use Bodyweight parallel bar dips, my chest responds very well. My worst is Calfes and i have to give them more attention. Itīs not only bad genetics but laziness training them hard.

My back comes up good when I am very lean and was the first bodypart to respond to weight training.  My arms are pretty crappy and they frustrate me.

My legs are decent too. And my glutes are part of my legs.  But when I diet down I have a small booty.

best..   hmm..   shoulders i guess, but i dont really train them much anymore, trying to let my chest catch up.

worst.. always has been my chest.. but its improved lately.. probably my traps

might i suggest giving glutes their own day and spending a couple hours training them with a mixed of rep ranges?

I train my glutes with legs because SLD, squats and walking lunges all work my glutes pretty well.  I will then do some isolation exercises for glutes such as cable kickbacks with very high reps.

My chest used to be my weakest bodypart until I experimented and discovered my pecs responded far better to squeezing movements than pressing movements.   My chest is no longer a weakness since giving up the bench press and focusing solely on heavy flyes as my primary mass builder.   All the bench press did for me was give me stronger front delts and triceps, but was not good for my pecs.  Flyes is what blows my pecs up.   Other bodyparts that grow easily are shoulders and legs.  My back is now my weakest.   Experimenting with super-slow chins on the assisted chinning machine has made some improvements though.

My smile and my green eyes are my best features. My worst feature is my right big toenail which is dead and therefore black. I've thought about painting it with nail polish.

Don't know what is my best body part is from a muscular sense, my worst is my posture as a result of years of stooping, causing a forward head.
Title: Re: What is your Best and worst Body part ?
Post by: Donny on November 16, 2012, 01:49:21 AM
Bad posture can be caused by a forward displacement of the hips. The upper back is displaced backwards to counter balance the forward position of the hips. Training the Hip Flexors,External obliques,Glutes and upper back muscles will help.

As you can see from the quote below, forward head is probably not caused by how one carries themselves from the hip. Just so you know, I haven't spent much time looking into a microscope and I have never carried a backpack or a purse. I did stoop as a teenager because I got my height early and was therefore taller than my freinds and classmates.

Quote
Many things can cause forward Head Posture. Here is a list of 5 of the more common ones:

1.Looking down while typing or reading
 2.Looking into a microscope
3.Sitting improperly with shoulders rounded and back hunched
4.Driving with your head more than 2 to 3 inches away from the headrest
5.Carrying a backpack or heavy purse slung over one shoulder

These are not all of the causes of FHP, but enough to make the point. The problem is that repeated forward and/or downward facing postures cause concurrent hypotonic (lengthening) and hypertonic (shortening) of several major muscles (i.e., lavater, rhomboid, trapazious, pectoral), degeneration of cervical (neck) vertebrae, and irritation of cervical nerves. Here’s what the Mayo Clinic has to say about it:

As I wear glasses, I'd say my eyes are my worst body part.

My cock is obviously my best. It really is fucking glorious.

Mind you - I am short sighted.

I think training my upper back muscles and traps definitely help my posture and today training shoulders i really concentrated on my bent over laterals with Dbs. When you think about it the back has a lot of muscles.

This is very funny!

I read that most men see their penis as being somewhat smaller than it actually is because they are looking down at it which supposedly distorts the actual size.

I'd say mine pokes me in the eye, but then folks would say I was being a braggart.  ;D

Once a week.

I've trained them twice a week at one stage but then I ended up being all legs and out of proportion to my upper half.

Best = Quads/hams/calves/shoulders

Worst = Chest/Biceps/lats

I believe my legs are my best bodypart purely by genetics, as all men in my family have very developed legs and mine have been big since i was 14.  My shoulders were built by years and years of heavy power lifting.

It sucks because the typical "beach" muscles that people look for are what i lack, however my legs and shoulders make up for most of it.

Best - upper legs (quads/hams/maaaybe glutes) EASILY. I'm pretty okay with my back too, but fuck it, I'm going legs because I built them from straight garbage.
Worst - everyone on getbig who knows anything about me (all five people...) knows I have the world's crappiest calves. Truly abyssmal. Like somebody stole them in my sleep in replaced them with kitkats. I have more than a few physique flaws, but I would actually just have to have my calves REPLACED for them to be worth anything.

APPARENTLY. No one has insulted anyone yet!

somewhat lacking are imo chest and traps for me.

i need to be very very lean to have good looking chest.

as for the traps, when i see them myself from back, depending on position, they look huge, esp when lean, but when shoulders down relaxed, theyre like...gone :-X

legs could be better, the leg biceps peak is bit weak, the quads i dont seem to be able to bring them to old glory.with plenty of gear, they get big.but now, they hardly bigger than a football players, atleast theyre ripped.

the rest is good, back and shoulders are really ok, arms and abs are amazing :D

Do guys really spend any amount of time worrying about traps? That seems like such a minor detail...

why arent you mentioning your legs?

quads and legbiceps look like surgucaly removed.

lol

it's funny you say this, coz my current ladyfriend basically told me that my ass is too damn flat, so i've been doing some full ATG squats to try and remedy the situation ;)

in fact, i was just looking at my quads in the mirror today and they are getting a nice sweep on them 8)

not sure about the ass though lol

yeah i have that too, im not v ery happy with my glutes sweep and legbiceps.quads are ok, ass is coming along, but those legbiceps, damn nothing works.theyre big, but i wasnt granted the genetic shape i would want

and i suppose that i should try and provide them with a nice round ass, since that is what i really want from them, and i guess it's not too fair to require them to have a hot round ass for me, while i give them my flat board of an ass ;D

in fact an x-girl of mine used to call me Mr. Asses Lover LOL!

There was a time when men weren't considered objects. Now we have the same excuse as women do to spend time an money on our appearance. Maybe we are becoming more like birds where males have all the plumage.

If you want a muscular ass, then do whatever you need to do to develop it, but don't do it for someone else. Next, you'll be getting hair implants because your girlfriend doesn't like your hairline.

you got a point, but i know that my legs and ass are lacking in development so i use her requests as motivation for me

i've recently added about 15 solid pounds and it mostly went to my arms, delts, and lats and she told me that i'm big enough now in my upper body and that i don't need to add any more size to my upper body, but i'm not listening to her in this regard as i'm gonna make my arms, delts and lats even bigger, so i'm still my own master so to speak

Back. Chest, developed but genetics determined the shape.
