When is the approximate time for this contest..I need some motivation to kick start my training and dieting for the summer.

I definately agree.. now Im about 222 with about 12% bf...
I think there are probably a lot of others with similar numbers and better physiques than me...but if we knew what we were shooting for far enough in advance people would give it there all... IMHO

With $2000 up for grabs in II, I was surprised more didn't do the show. Some guys here could have placed without even dieting. Hopefully in III, they'll just go for it and see where they land.

Typical getbig. All talks and no play. I'm one of them so I shouldn't complain. The timing was just bad; and to be honest the promotion was bad as well. I just learned there was 2k for grab. Better than any NPC shit shows ;D

The problem is the cash prize wasn't announced until it was way too late for new people to enter or start prep. As a result, the prize was pointless as an incentive. Announce a good cash prize 16+ weeks out, I think you'll have more participation.

1. I'll do it because I'll also do the Romanian Nationals and the competition there is serioaus .

Yes quite dissapointing when it's promised. If I knew a good set date I'd really go for it. It's always easier to go harder inthe wieght room when there is incentive/motivation. I don't know a lot about dieting though, just basics :(
And for the love of god i'd love to beat good ol sevestes ;D there could be 50000000 dollars on the lione and it wouldnt be as nice as beating sevestes ;D (no offense to sevestes i like him of course)

u don'thave to but that's the truth even if it would bother u...hate all u want but thats how I look clean squeaky clean just a bit of clean food , once we add drugs in the equation we talk a whole diff ball game....the second guy up in those photos , with the back double bicep shot beat me in the junior nationals in 95....u figure it out....I fuck around a lot because it's fun but all the people making fun don't realize that I look better than the shittalkers even clean for a couple of years at 185...it's just the haterade in them talking , in reality they wish they would be able to mantain or even attain a phisique such as mine clean, or naturally...;)

I doubt most of the people criticising me have a more pleasing physique.
I certainly wouldn't want to be them.
I bet most are downright ugly.
It's more about getting over that long period of bodybuilding in which you aren't sure if you're making gains.
Morale is low during that period, since you're not sure if you're wasting time.
I was a skinny, nonathletic type before.
Now that I look in the mirror and see actual progress, I feel much more motivated to build on that even more.
If you saw the equipment I use, and the way I train, you would all laugh.
I use 3 weights period. A 35, a 20, a 15, some little foam hand held weights, and lastly a pair of grippers.
I wasn't doing situps or ab work before, because of laziness. I'm going to start.

I certainly wouldn't want to be them.
I bet most are downright ugly.
It's more about getting over that long period of bodybuilding in which you aren't sure if you're making gains.
Morale is low during that period, since you're not sure if you're wasting time.
I was a skinny, nonathletic type before.
Now that I look in the mirror and see actual progress, I feel much more motivated to build on that even more.
If you saw the equipment I use, and the way I train, you would all laugh.
I use 3 weights period. A 35, a 20, a 15, some little foam hand held weights, and lastly a pair of grippers.
I wasn't doing situps or ab work before, because of laziness. I'm going to start.

actually I am following that program you posted from Nubret..trying to focus more on upper chest
that pics was last summer..now I am focusing on shoulder/arms/legs
btw..thanks for posting that work out routine..

u welcome..I gave it up and now I do a more traditional style...but still high volume...I just did not have the time to doo all that. And I have not reached even 10 minutes of continuous abs hahahha

I don't follow the program exactly, I make some some concession based on time and energy level. Also I am trying to add 20-30 cardio after each work out.
My goal is to eat clean and mix in cardio now so that I won't have to kill my myself dieting later on
obviously I won't be big, but judging by last year standards size isn't everything.

just be carefull not to loose weight...the first thing someone who manages to get to say 5-6 % for their first show notices is that there's almost no muscle left....
