For many years I began my chest routine with a flat bb or db, hence a lagging upper chest. Still working on bringing it up. I always begin my chest routine now with eight sets of incline before I do a flat press. I see a lot of routines that people do beginning with a flat press. Doesn't make sense because not too many people have well developed upper pecs yet they still start with a flat press.
