From Shawn Ray, who will be at the Fit Expo this weekend too...
"This is a documentary that I felt it needed to be made at this time. I am the owner of almost any video, documentary, dvds of all of the bodybuilding titles, as I am also a fan of the industry, and what I saw lacking in the sport was any type of journalistic documentary on how the evolution of bodybuilding came about, and how it started to where we are now. I felt this is bigger than Shawn Ray, and getting this done is a dream for me. These bodybuilders in this documentary shaped the sport as I know it. It was a dream for me to get these interviews while they are still here to have these stories told in one documentary was a huge understaking for me. That is why I stepped up to do this. No one was trying to tell this story about the evolution of bodybuilding. This is not a Shawn Ray story, but I am part of this story. But the guys that made this foundation, I am glad I had a chance to interview. Most of these bodybuilders never thought they would be Mr. Olympian's. But once they were, they felt that this was their calling. They ultimately beleived that they were the best in the world, and they prevailed.
Come check it out. Besides bodybuilders, there are people that documented the journey of some of these bodybuilders, the champions througout the decades. We cover 47 years throughtout the sport, from the first Olympian champion, to the current Olympia winner, all thanks to Joe Weider's dream."
