240 do u really understand how the jihadists work...really. Bush didn't recruit anybody more by saying that. We were viewed as a paper tiger after clinton and Somalia. Bin Laden said as much in several books and interviews. Bush sent a message to them that we were coming. I suggest u read a book instead of blogs sites and try and understand how the nutbags think.

There no one rule for how the Jihadists operate, recruit, or are recruited. Some may have been encouraged by a political statement, others by money, others because they are too young to know better. There's no rhyme or reason to it. The problem with the Jihadist movement is not the fact that its a unitary ideology but that it is fractured and characterised by local differences which makes it much harder to fight.

One things for damn sure, GWB didn't make the situation any better.
