From what I've read, it seems that most Americans are siding with Trump on the 'Trump vs NFL' issue.

This is one of his easiest wins.

Well - it was easy today - did not watch nor care to watch any football game with players disrespecting our anthem.  So did a lot of my friends out here who just know that unless they stop buying, watching  and giving money to the teams, nothing will happen.

At least with the NBA, they have a rule that expressly tells that the players and coaches have to stand during the anthem - respect.  NFL is losing credibilty quickly.

As I’ve said, it’s more than just these guys kneeling. The NFL had become an ordeal to watch. An 8 o’clock game sometimes doesn’t end until midnight. It’s a one hour freaking game. So you’re getting a little bits of a game in between tons of nonsense. They can’t go five minutes without some stupid sideline interview.

It’s really just another example of an old-school media company not being able to adapt well to the new fast paced internet environment.

I just downloaded the PDF version of the rule book and there is no such rule.

The post claims that the rule can be found on page "A62-63 of the NFL rulebook." As our friends down at AL.com have noted, a look at the actual NFL rulebook reveals otherwise. First off, there is no "A62 or 63."

Page 62 pertains to the enforcement of 15 yard penalties, special exceptions for 15-yard penalties and ejections. Page 63 focuses on penalties for illegal kicks and batting the ball.
