5. Creatine supplementation does not cause dehydration or muscle cramping.

^^^ #5 is definitely false.

Definitely false?  Based on what?  The data shows the opposite actually:

Cramping and Injury Incidence in Collegiate Football Players Are Reduced by Creatine Supplementation
"Creatine users had significantly less cramping (χ21 = 5.35 P = .021); heat illness or dehydration (χ21 = 4.09, P = .043); muscle tightness (χ21 = 5.39, P = .020); muscle strains (χ21 = 5.36, P = .021); and total injuries (χ21 = 17.80, P<.001) than nonusers.

The incidence of cramping or injury in Division IA football players was significantly lower or proportional for creatine users compared with nonusers."

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC233174/

Creatine monohydrate treatment alleviates muscle cramps associated with haemodialysis
"The frequency of symptomatic muscle cramps decreased by 60% in the creatine monohydrate treatment group (6.2+/-0.8 vs 2.6+/-1.8 times/4 weeks, P<0.05) during the treatment period.

These data suggest that creatine monohydrate can reduce the incidence of HAMC and that it may be a safe agent."

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12401856/

Putting to rest the myth of creatine supplementation leading to muscle cramps and dehydration
"Recent reports now suggest that creatine may enhance performance in hot and/or humid conditions by maintaining haematocrit, aiding thermoregulation and reducing exercising heart rate and sweat rate. Creatine may also positively influence plasma volume during the onset of dehydration. Considering these new published findings, little evidence exists that creatine supplementation in the heat presents additional risk, and this should be taken into consideration as position statements and other related documents are published."

They can post all the reports they want but lifters know through experience about cramping as do all other athletes.

The study participants were lifters.

Should have tested football players, wrestlers and gymnasts.

Chinese creatine is tested for impurities a lot of times  the consumers demand it. There's no reason why the Chinese would add impurities wilfully in their powders.. If crap is found in their supps, say goodbye to that business.

There was one joker here, a supp manufacturer, who said Creapure was the shittiest creatine around  ;D But he never said why.

Remember when China killed a bunch of babies with impure baby formula that was modified to give a fake protein reading when tested? China also makes a lot of the vape fluid that has been found to contain a ton of crap. China cares about making money and not your health.

Creapure is the gold standard for clean creatine. I wouldn't eat a piece of bread made in China.

All I know is that creatine was the only supplement that actually worked for me. Maybe I was a good responder. No doubt I got more reps with the stuff. I stopped taking it when my doc said my kidney tests came back bad. He told me to stop taking creatine and what do you know the tests came back perfect. Some say creatine throws off kidney tests because of how it is processed in the body and changes to creatinine throwing off the kidney test.

It elevates creatinine. I won't use it.
