Here goes another...

It's very hot out today and there are some neighbors down the street that are very elderly. I went to Ralph's and bought some ingredients to make Southern Sweet Tea. Went home brewed some and brought them over a pitcher with fresh cut lemons.
I made ice cubes with distilled water so all the ice looked like glass which added an extra touch that they all noticed. Brought smiles on their faces and cooled them off.

Was the ice made beforehand?

Did you place it in the tea pitcher or bring it separately?

Based on the heat index in the IE I think it's safe to assume you brought the ice over in your personal sized Yethi, otherwise your story doesn't line up because the ice would have melted significantly and wouldn't have been noticed.

I don't live in the Inland Empire. I live just outside of Lake Placid. I always keep fresh ice made. I also make ice balls for whisky. I have a separate freezer just for ice and meats.
