Post by: 240 is Back on April 01, 2009, 07:46:19 PM
Looking for something that doesn't involve 30+ minutes of cooking.

Any ideas?

Two tuna sandwiches on wheat. 10 minutes from can to gizzard.  (75 grams)

I usually just scoop protein out of the tub with the actual scale and measure up like 100 grams then mix that son of a bitch up with some nesquik "ain't nuttin but a peanut" style.

Aren't they both powders?  what do you mix them with?

Most larger super markets have chicken breast sliced up, and flavored differently, made by Louis Rich. For something quick on the go, they'll suffice.
Also, Lucky/SavMart chains have similar chicken, but also beef fajitas made by a company named "John Soules" I think. I love getting the beef prior to a leg workout- a little more fat to give me a bit more energy.
Obviously you can have tuna.
Cottage Cheese- I like to put sunflower seeds on mine, creates an interesting mix of tastes. I'll buy fat free cottage cheese and add almonds or peanuts, or the aforementioned in place of the milk fat.
Protein shakes/bars I'm assuming you know well.
If you go to Carls Jr, BK or whatever, you can usually find a chicken sandwich that's roasted. Throw away the bun and/or whatever other processed items it may come with.
I might think of more later.

One of those small cereal box's of cheerios, a 99 cent bag of cashews - and a isopure from GNC (or whatever whey they have at the store that you are in).

620 cals

55 grams pro

50 grams carbs

3g sat fat

Thats my "I don't have time for shit", meal.....

If your at home and you have 8 min get these things:

Glad zip n steam microwave bags

8 ounces chicken

Oatmeal

The steam bag are the shit and the chicken comes out perfect.

The ghost of Vince Gironda says 3 raw eggs + 2 tbsp cream, lightly whipped. Add hydrochloric acid tabs or vinegar to ensure an acid stomach.
