i know in muslim faith there r certain unforgivable sins..
murder, rape..i forget the rest..but you gotta burn in hell before you might get to heaven if ya commit them(haider..am i right on this?)..seems a little more even steven here..

It's called Grace Toxy.  It's hard for our minds to get around it, but Grace makes it possible.  I have a friend who would always "argue" the Jeffrey Dahmer aspect....she couldn't accept that if he got saved that he got to go to heaven.  In fact, she used to be an atheist, but later, she came to the realization that she doesn't know everything.  She eventually became a believer.

It seems weird and unfair to us, but our ways are not always His ways.

Stella hit the nail on the head. It's all about grace.

No matter how great the sin - God's love for us is greater.

All one has to do is accept Jesus, sincerely ask for his forgiveness, and live to honor him and he will find salvation.

However, it doesn't mean a person is off the hook for the sins they've committed. If one truly wants to be forgiven and honor Christ they have to atone for their sins by taking full responsibility for their actions and dedicate their lives to serving their fellow man. As someone once told me, our path to self enlightenment as Christians is through compassionate service to others.
