I really believe that bodybuilding ,just like any other sport is not about drugs. The champion is not champion because he takes more drugs than the others, everyone does.
To become pro i think that you have to be consistent, thats the number 1 thing, along with having good genes, being determined ,disciplined and all those boring things, there's no secret,is all about time doing that.
why in the world there are millions of people that take juice, and the 99,9 % of them doesn't look like a pro,is because they don't do it alll the way, with everything else, giving 100 % in every aspect.
I don't know if i am right in this one,but i really think that if steroids didn't exist, the n1 bodybuilder right now would still be jay, the n2 vic........
Most of the best pros would still be the best pros without drugs in the sport.
Once again, the drugs simply up the level of the BEST beyond natural human limits.
It is a lot like those straight jacket like benchpress shirts being used now.
The best guys can bench over 900 lbs wearing them, but can bench 600-700 raw ( no bench shirt).
I don't understand why a 600-700 lb bench is NOT enough?? I find it damn impressive and to me looks a lot more incredile than sporting some spaceage straight jacket, that helps you lift the wt.
Steroids did for bodybuilding what boob jobs did for babes. Now any babe with some extra cash can have big boobs.
But only a fraction of the "boob girls" look really hot.
Most are just kinda plain or ugly girls with a nothing body except for some absurd looking hooters.
