read Dr.hatfield book, bodybuilding: a scientific approach. it details muscle fiber specific training, it's the best style of training that I know of...

www.drsquat.com and look at the articles section, the workouts are detailed there. there is also an article about the zig-zag diet which is very good.
I am a true hardgainer (predominantly slow twitch fiber Type IA) due to years of triathlon and it was only through fiber specific training and zig-zag dieting that i was able to put on some mass.
oh, and for calves, you need very high volume to make them grow cause their predominantly slow twitch fibers. they also tend to recuperate faster so you need to train them more frequently (everyday).
