But these expos ... Man, hard to take. Drive ya nuts.

He looks like he weighs about 170 pounds today. I wonder if he trains at all. So many guys like Mentzer and others say he was the hardest training bodybuilder they ever saw.

true, platz is the only one who legitimately seemed to do insane hard workouts all the time, imo

Tom is a nice guy and a critical thinker.  This guy trained his ass off back in the day.  His light day would be your heaviest/hardest.  You youngsters ought to give him more respect.

These "youngsters" would rather suck a muscle cock than work out with real intensity.

The vid was creepy enough without Iris Kyle in it. Just a few seconds of her presence turned it into a full blown horror vid. I'm pretty sure that if I bumped into her on a sunny monday afternoon, I'd still be running scared shitless by friday evening.

during my different travel in usa i noticed that the "classy" dress code is weird.
Specially the combo checked/striped shirt with corduroy trouser.

The Starbucks franchise?

Tom platz once had a friend who wanted to start a coffee shop franchise, and asked tom if he wanted to put some money up and be involved, Tom didn't think the idea would take off and turned down the offer. His friend continued with the idea anyway. Turned out to be the start of Starbucks, Tom recently said he was gutted.
Dig around you'll find the article somewhere, good read.

He had just won a big contest and actually had the money to drop...

Tom Platz never won a big contest! I don't think he ever won a pro show.

That's an amateur show. Didn't make him win any prize money. Great accomplishment nonetheless. Turned pro after that.

O.K.

Let me "re-phrase"

Tom had just won enough money to buy in....I wish I remembered the amount. It was all he had basically. It was a move that he really had to take a chance on, so nobody's blaming him, it's just that he chose wrong....
