I personally know people who fled Mexico because their lives were in danger. In their case, they had the necessary paperwork however, if I were in their shoes, and I didn't have it, I would have crossed the border as well to save my family. I think you would have done it as well. I can weather breaking the immigration law, I couldn't weather the alternative

I was surprised to learn from a recent news report that sometimes very young children attempt to immigrate on their own.

My son-in-law was stationed at Fort Bliss, in El Paso for a few years. He says that workers and students cross the bridges between El Paso and Juárez in droves everyday.
