The American president, Donald Trump, has made a bold decision.
By announcing that the United States will recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, he has not only proven himself as a reliable ally whose word can be counted on, but also a courageous leader who is not afraid to stand for what is right.
This decision is right for Israel, it is right for the United States, and it has a good chance of positively influencing the possibility for peace in our region.
There are times when leaders have to make the hard choice not only because there may be great geopolitical benefits from such a move, but because it is simply the right thing to do. This is what guided Prime Minister Ben Gurion when he moved the Knesset to Jerusalem almost seven decades ago.

There have been positive pieces about Trump from every mainstream outlet. Even if you believe the press has a liberal bias, Trump is the architect of most of his bad press. Don't understand your first sentence, but it doesn't matter. I believe you and Straw man are overthinking the reason I started this tread. I'm simply shocked that something positive about Trump came out of Newsweek, very similar to the other thread about CNN calling Trump keeper of promises.
As for Straw man, who is attacking whom? This thread is not about Straw man, yet he chimed in to call me fundie, mentally ill by his definition, and to call Jesus Christ a zombie god. I responded accordingly.

How can anyone debate a religious belief? Religion requires "faith" to patch of all the areas of inconsistency and contradiction. My personal belief is that fervent, fundamentalist religious belief (fill in whatever religion you like) is equivalent to having a form of mental illness (IMO)
