If you look at all the jobs created over the last 15-20 years they are all government jobs. The private job sector has grown very very little over the last 20 years, very few new private sector jobs have been created. We're fucked.

Not exactly. Won't happen that way. The rejoicing and all once a dictator falls is soon over and then it's all about the ones who can push things their way. Nothing to do with what exactly the majority wants. Democracy is an extremely long process and never granted. Look at Western democracies, how many setbacks? How much room for improvement? People just go back a minute and look at what really happened during the Iranian Revolution and understand that a very active minority can confiscate a revoluton and that's what might happen in Arab countries as the Islamists are willing to do anything.

But...then I have to ask this....if the vast majority of the populace were educated through Gaddafi's programs, then why is the country adopting Sharia Law? Just seems odd that a so-called educated population would willingly take 3 steps backward.
