Title: Lifting Burritos for Dr Chimps
Post by: stuntmovie on October 21, 2010, 12:32:26 PM
Kind of off base here but there seems to be a lot of non-bodybuilding related shit on this board so let me add a bit to the shit-pile.

I've got a list of Ten Best Lifetime Movies I've ever seen and last nite I had to remove Titanic from that list to add a new one that I found to be among the best films of its type I've ever seen.

Its 'type' is independent and inexpensive with relatively unknown actors - no killing, no sex (aw, just a bit of sex), no crime at all.

It's called "It's Kind of a Funny Story" and I found it to be a real heart grabber that literally pulled me into the story line.

Most of you guys and gals probably prefer the car-chase, catch-em, and kill-em movies with those old over the hil actors doing their best to produce a macho image - but this one ain't like that at all.

Give it a chance and go see it. You'll laugh, you'll cry .... and you'll leave that theater ready, willing, and able to tell all your friends about it - which I'm sort of doing here.

Oh  yea! The heaviest object lifted in this movie is a burrito and a telephone. I hope that makes it bodybuilding related.

And this is mainly intended for Dr Chimps and any other GetBig movie fans.

I've heard about it. I'll take you're recommendation and watch for it on the Movie Channel. Cheers.    :)

Yea, Army, I felt bad about that also! But it had to be done!

It felt kinda like killing the runt of the thoroughbred litter.

But ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

Go see this one and you might agree.

MB, Dream sequence? You must have left after the first 60 seconds.

It was a good movie but it seems like men were touched by that film more than women for some reason.

Saw it years ago with an old GF. Hated it. But when the ship upended and that guy fell free and smashed into the superstructure I laughed my ass off. That did not go over well with her.    ;D
