Jay knew he was not in the lead, at that time.  How he managed to win the show, is beyond me (and countless others).

I don't have a problem with Jay winning...but it was VERY close and Jay could have just as easily been fourth as he was first.  It could have gone any number of different ways.  Jay had a solid performance but by no means dominated the field.
