Great back, calves, shoulders and tris. Very good poser.
But ripped biceps and pec, poor abs and quad.
Thanks Mr Bill Pearl !

Makkawy was in a far better physical condition. He was the clear winner in 1982 and (maybe) 1983.

One of the best posing routines I've ever seen.

Makkawy begins by kneeling on his left leg, facing right; poses through a series of flowing, moving "pictors" (the music is from the conclusion of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition); and finishes by kneeling on his right leg, facing left.

That's a Master Class in physique presentation.

Better than Dickerson

Franco looked better in that pic than he did at the actual show.

.. Any other year, he wouldn't have stood a chance, but worst 'O' or not; he was the best onstage the night he won and a deserving winner .. If you really analyze his physique he was very complete not unlike Frank Zane

Are you fucking kidding me? Casey Viator was better. Frank Zane was better. Bertil Fox was better. Alber Beckles was better. Samir Bannout was better. Mohamed Makkawy was better. Even Tom Platz with his torn bicep was light years better. So was Boyer Coe and several others than night.

The funny thing is, Dickerson looked pretty big when he was in the old Golds Gym group shots.

I never thought he was Olympia worthy. That weird pec development made him look like he was trying to grow tetas.

Chris Dickerson's standing relaxed from the back looked phenomenal. Perfectly balanced and developed. And, of course, his calves were outrageous! But he had the worse biceps of anyone to step on the Mr. O stage and his pecs just destroyed his whole look from the front.

Still, I think he was better than '81 Franco. The gyno and smooth bow legs of the Sardinia sidekick was just too much. It was Arnold who won that show for him.

That's a nasty bicep tear, looks like Platz's.

Yet Platz was punished inspite of it and Dickerson was rewarded despite it.
