I ran into an old training partner recently, he is still really into it and wants to 'turn pro' a topic I hadnt discussed in 7years. was a little weird talking the same old stuff, he was sure to show me his improvements and he had improved but the stomach was getting that palumbo look and when I told him the cost to the health just wasnt worth the coveted ''pro card'' lol, he seemed to respond like how most brainwashed people do.. they just wont listen to reason. maybe there are subliminal messages in magazines, i dont know but if he turns pro i will be sure to tell you all I trained with him.

Does he stand a chance of turning pro ?

I doubt anyone can win the world championships like "tiny" down hill did. If so, go for it. ::)

Quitters never win, winners never quit.
I like people who chase their drems till' it's "over" (or they succeed)..

One thing Hill had going on his pro card winning showing, is condition, I saw his pic standing alone
He doesn't fill his frame yet, and weak arms
What did his competion on the day look like? In other words, did someone else deserve it more?
I haven't seen pics of the line up..

not at all, but if I find my passion to be golf and 6 years after countless of money spend training absolved my handicap is still double diggit it would be kinda smart to figure out that I may not have enough talent to make it pro.
What do you think?

I admit, you're right on this.
Had pro ambitions (no homo) as teenager myself but luckily I figured out I don't have the genetics for it at early age.
