Saw it, it was decent and stayed true to the reported story, it did lag badly in parts though. Not a bloody film, but was decently creepy. I'd grade it 6.5 of 10 or so.

It really, really, was quite slow in parts.

Cool. Yeah Ive been intrigued with this film for a while meaning to see it. Even so called "hardened critics" have raved about the film and said its one of the most disturbing movies they've ever seen. Apparently most of the cast were local residents from that area. The main role of John Bunting is an actor (daniel henshall) but the rest were apparently locals. I must say I was most impressed with the young guy who played Jamie. His acting is outstanding. The others weren't bad either by the looks of it. Pretty shocking that it actually took place in Australia even more shocking that it went on for so long without anyone finding out. Most of the victims John Bunting targeted were pedophiles. Tho none were actually proven to be sex offenders. Ive watched parts of the movie but will definitely put this one on my must see.

just be forwarned there is some animal cruelty involved, a snake, mouse and a dog. It is pretty disturbing... I saw some parts of it just to know beforehand what I would be getting myself into but most of the movie is pretty disturbing from all the reviews Ive heard.
