They "had obesity" lol. Weird way to say they're fat.
Obesity is defined by a certain level of fatness which is a BMI of 30.0 and above for adults and about 25. and above for teens.
On another note, has anyone considered how many the folks who post on Getbig are technically obese according to their BMI?
I am 5'10" tall and weigh on average 175 lbs. This puts me according to my BMI in the overweight category. If I can get down to 174 lbs. I would be in the healthy category. For my height, I'd have weigh 209 lbs. to be considered obese.
