Matt you've made some interesting points that I didnt have time to read.
But maybe you make a good point that we need more low level autistic people in positions of leadership in our nations.
I think this is correct.
The thing about we autistics is that we don't give a shit about social pressure/stigma.
We care about what we think is factually correct.
And tending towards high IQ, I think we are very often better at analyzing data objectively, and forming our own conclusions, rather than being followers.
Don't get me wrong - I don't think there is any perfect system.
But the sheer volume of Yes Men puppets in politics blows my mind.
I think we need some people in politics who don't care about what is popular, and care only about what is factually correct, and what produces the best overall results - actions which produce winners and losers, but transition the losers from the largess produced by the winners [NOT communism of socialism, but a model that simply helps those who lose in the system - which I now realize is impossible to fully prevent in ANY system]. My view is that we should strive to achieve the socioeconomic model that produces the system which maximizes gains and minimizes costs.
The traditional American system was very close to that system.
But my bottom line is this:
If I EVER went into politics, my ONLY goal would be to make decisions based on the totality of currently available scientific evidence.
NOT what's "popular".
NOT what's "WOKE".
But ONLY take actions based on what ACTUAL EXPERTS tell me what's correct.
NOT cherry-picked experts propped up for political theatre. But REAL experts - experts I am easily able to recognize based on my own ability to think critically [check the video below for an example].
Dave - YOU are smarter than virtually ALL EXPERTS I SEE IN THE NEWS TODAY.
Or at LEAST 90%.
And that helps me learn - BUT IS THAT A JOKE???
