Both Alan Donnelly of Flex Magazine and Bob Chicherillo say that Melvin Anthony, who is competing at the Atlantic City show this year, will lose the show, either to Darrem Charles or Chris Cormier.
Now this should be interesting.
Last year's top 5 Olympia Competitor losing out at this show...

Melvin and CC got into it in the past but Melvin back down like always. Anyways Melvin you was not in shape at the O last year. Deciding to come in heavy was not a wise choice. Working with teh chad is not a good idea imo. :-\

Look at the youtube video of him posing. He was not in good shape. Take notice his midsection when he is doing floor poses. Also hams, glutes, arms, and just about everything was soft. The best I seen melvin was a couple of years ago at the ironman.

Unfortunatly he's still playing the size game, IMO if he would have came in 15-18lbs lighter, he would have done well.

In the art of predictions, 'experts' is just a term. You can guess, but until you see someone that day, you are going what you know from the past. We also are called the 'Experts' but it is just a term. But since some of us see more pre-contest photos, we may have a little more knowledge on it.
Still, as you have seen in the past, we can all disagree on who will win.
No one picked Darrem to win the Montreal Pro, or at least a few did. Still, the underappreciated Darrem surprised us all.

I can't see Melvin losing unless he is off now or Chris is on the money. Melvin is #5 in the world after all. Chris has a torn tri and has to be really sharp to win.

Melvin Melvin - should go have a seat next to branch and dennis - Great body , however you can see he is not 100% and if Johnnie is pushing him this hard which has not been a issue in past years - The following is clear.
The difference
- Melvin needs more time - to get back to self - from his injury
- Johnnie with the right support has made drastic improvements and bring his body in to stun- Dareem, Chris? Quincy ::) and the Melvin
To protect his legacy Melvin should sit out the O or run a risk of not placing in the Top 6 -
2nd callout Silvio , Dexter , Melvin , Gustavo, Jackson, Dareem - will be a call out / at the O - TRUE STORY!
1st callout - Ronnie,XMan,Victor, Jay ,dexter - respect, Melvin- respect - Dexter and Melvin - will look little with one more monster in the line up -XMAN! which will push them back to the second round comparisons.

I think conditioning is overrated in bodybuilding. Yeah, it's important. But if a guy like Melvin has such superior structure as compared to a guy like Johnnie, Melvin should win despite the fact hat Johnnie had somewhat better conditioning
