Better structure. Reeves had really wide clavicles and a really narrow waist & hips which Arnold did not. Reeves had a 29" waist at around the same height as Arnold and his was 34" Reeves had better balance between the muscles a true Greek Ideal , Arms , neck and calves exactly all the same size. Reeves had better symmetry all of his muscles appeared the same shape Arnold's biceps alone were different sizes and shapes. Arnold was leaner and harder but chalk that up to 30 years of trial-and-error in nutrients and technology. Reeves stands alone

In this photo, no one looks as good.  The man was The Man.  And still is.  Reeves physique was perfect.  His neck, calves and arms were 18.5" and his legs 26" and his chest 52".  This is the standard of symmetry that has long been abandoned to fulfill the fetid fetishes of size queen schmoes.

Arnold is overall the best drugs or not.  But Reeves is Reeves.

Closest thing to perfection for a man and ahead of his time

I love Arnold and all cuckery lately aside the photo posted by the OP gimmick is outstanding. Arnold is one of the best ever. Reeves had better genetics

I firmly believe that the actor Clint Walker could have been an even taller version of Reeves or close to it. He was, I think...6' 6" in height.

He seemed like a real nice guy too I saw a video one of him on YouTube in his home gym I’m too stoned to find it just have a look. Great width and build also, another outlier ahead of his peers

Yup.  A genuine man.  Conservative and Christian from what I have read and heard over the years.  Like Reeves, Walker was a childhood cinema/TV hero of mine.

Dolph Lundgren is another guy who would destroy many because of his structure alone. I got into bodybuilding because of Arnold. But when you look at him off cycle (even Ronnie I think is narrow) you understand where structure is key

If Lou didn’t do the hulk he would have been unbeatable in that era. I think some WWE guys from that time could have beaten him though if they trained properly for it. Who knows

A signed photo would have been $100.

Louie goes through his posing,

and you watch every pose.

You sort of help him out, easy now.

Each pose he goes through,

you're living it with him.

I mean, you just have to try

to understand what I'm trying to tell you.

That you're actually

out there with your son...

because you trained with him

and you're posing with him.

The only thing you're not doing with him...

you're not getting

the reward of the applause.

He's the one that's getting that,

and he deserves it.

And you just hope

the audience gives him more.

You wanna shout out,

''It's my son out there!

''Give him just a few more handshakes,

a few more applause. ''

And you just hope

that he's the winner, that's all.

A few more handshakes? Matty, what the fuck are you talking about!?

In this photo Reeves is basically standing relaxed. No angles, no lighting tricks, no "signature poses" or any other optical illusion techniques. And he fails to impress. Looks like a landscaper, fit and toned no doubt. But to compare him in any way shape or form to Arnold schwarzenegger? No way.

Your logic is flawed like your small arms and shitty threads. Your proof is one picture from a film 11 years after his bodybuilding career? Thats like comparing Arnold standing relaxed from Terminator 2 with Jay Cutler from 2009.

When he was acting he was 190lbs down 25lbs from when he competed at 215lbs.

Arnold looked like nothing when natty.

On drugs he looked like a big hunka man. (No homo).

Arnold went on steroids at age 16.

Reeves may have used test at some point, probably during his movie career.

It's unknown how the drugs of Arnold's day would affect Reeves.  He might not have reacted as well as Arnold.

Natty Reeves destroys natty Arnold.

Natty John Grimek destroys natty Arnold and even natty Reeves.

Reeves competed late 1940s to 1950, early 20s age.  Only a few contests.

His movie career as Hercules came almost a decade later in 1958.

Peculiar writing style. The double spacing. I notice some of the "other members" do the same.

Arnolds physical dimensions are unmatched.  To think he was just like 24 in that pic.

With all the limitations that bodybuilding had 50 plus damn years ago …. Arnold by his mid 20s stopped improving his physique and wanted to move to something bigger and better,
Goes to show you he is by far the bodybuilder with the biggest potential ever.

He was finished with competing when that picture was taken. No, he wasn't in his top shape but even being in Europe on set for months he looked amazing.

You can try to explain away his small physique all you want. Makes no difference. Reeves reminds me alot of Frank Zane: Swimmer's Build that disappears when he puts a shirt on.
