Putting the pieces together, anyone think something major is almost going down?

NDAA (military operates on US soil, indefinate detention), SOPA (Internet censorship), Governmental internet ID's for citizens, Homeland Security now monitoring peoples posts on major social networking and political sites, Fast and Furious as an excuse to increase gun laws, etc (And thats just off the top of my head)... Obviously they are trying to take away our eyes and ears, and want to control what we see and hear, now combined with indefinate detention and them monitoring what is said online begs the question;

Is anyone else get the feeling something major is getting ready to go down? And if so, what do you think it is? Iran? Disease (See FEMA camps)? War? Famine? Hostile takeover?

IMHO the government (See congress passing the NDAA with only 3 votes against! 3!!!!) is drawing a line in the sand between themselves and the citizens. |

I don't think so. This is what happens when you give "progressives" power (in reality, though, it's more like when you give either side power). These limousine liberals are convinced that they know what's best for the rest of us and the only way for them to go about proving it is by eradicating our ability to do anything other than what they deem is good for us.

I almost think that is the most insulting of all the options, that is what 1st made me begin to hate Obama, when he flat out said that we as citizens cant make our own decisions and only he knows whats best for us. The fact that they look at us like children they have to micromanage is really starting to irritate me. Nothing worse than someone telling you that youre not capable of making your own decisions, and he knows whats best for you.

Especially when they have no fucking idea what real life is like, never working a day in his life but attended Columbia where he learned how terrible capitalism and democracy is and how great socialism and communism is.

Not to mention hanging out with people and going to a church that, for all intents and purposes, hates everything about the country and the people that live in it.

That's what makes me laugh. He has done nothing for 3+ years now so we should reward him with another 4! Hahaha, makes zero fucking sense. There is no reason whatsoever to give him another 4.

Without having to worry about re-election I guarantee he's going to double down on the stupid and really fuck us.

And with regards to Romney, I don't think he'll be that bad. I think we're in an era where you either put up or get booted out on your ass. I don't think politicians are going to be getting a free pass for 4 years anymore.

I think Obama is going to go down as one of the worst Presidents in history. No exaggeration.

Great article, btw.

I do not see any of this happening in the immediate near future, but the infrastructure is certainly there.  The reason I don't see it happening is because well.....its the inept and bloated government......but I can only hope.

The militarization of the various police departments in all parts of the country is just as equally alarming, though.  These guys are equipped with the same equipment and armament as a US Marine patrolling in Fallujah.  If the government did clamp down, they have the perfect people in place to do it.
