just thought i would start a new thought on an old topic. yes, we all know 75 percent of women are grossed out and majorly turned off by a huge bodybuilder physique, hell, it's been my experience that alot of women are not even attracted to "natural" physique's like o'hearn,davey, etcetera. women at least the huge majority "say" they want abs, some muscle tone, and that's it?!
now, here's the thought and question -having been to many bb competitions and such, it seems from what i have seen and heard that older women i'm talking 40's, 50's and even in their 60's and beyond are the ones that are turned on my huge bb physiques? why is that? perhaps because they remember a time when in their youth like the 1940's, 50's and 60's they remember when how should i say men were men, not only actors,but in the general public not to mentioned the famous bb of the time, steve reeves, etcetera. or maybe are these older women just plain horny! laugh! and equate muscle with sex? comments anyone?

That all depends there my friend. In my past experiences, women are attracted to muscle. If you go to a bar or club who has all the ladies around him?? Who's getting checked out constantly as he walks down the street or through the mall? The muscular guy...not the average "Joe" with tone. If anything, women are intimdated by a muscular guy because they are in fear of rejection or they seem to assume that he only likes fit women. A lot has to do with insecurity on the female.

i think this is the most accurate post of the day. Many women feel that a bodybuiler would only be interested in the size 4 fitness model type...when in reality that isn't the case. Ever been to a show? Many of the women are of average or fit weight.
Also back in the day, BB and the BB type was a bit more mainstream and acceptable so a lot of women find that attractive from their youth.
These days that look is associated with small dicks and roid rage.
I feel bad for a lot of bodybuilders because all they seem to think are interested in them are female BB's. It makes sense since they can get down with your diet and working out....
But I have found a lot of women are attracted to the BB type...especially at clubs.

I don't know. In college a friend of mine was really jacked, but only the big gals were feeling on him ....maybe it was because he was light-skinned (I waiting for when we're back in style ;D). Normal or petite women were like...ew. Another dude I knew, would walk around with a wife-beater, and women on campus would comment, "his chest is too big, it looks like he has breasts." But the big gals they love him.
I think it has something to do with the fact that men who are in diesel represent the polar opposite of women who are not in shape. One who is hyper-muscular might attract those who are not in shape, and there represent a fantasy. Those who are in shape do not want a hyper-muscular man.

Shit no, LOL! There are two girls who go to my school who are both 6'2 though - crazy. About 97% of girls are my height or shorter and that's about what I like. I would prefer to not be shorter than the girl, but I don't care much.

Last time I walked in the gym...I went straight up to the new juice bar girl with the tounge stud and lower back tattoo always exposed and I jacked her right across the jaw...spit a loogie in her face and gave her a jackknife power bomb. I see you but the thing is that most women who are "normal" (that is what I am) think they are fat. I know when me and my ex got together I was convinced that he only wanted some muscle babe or supermodel. I didn't think he would go for my curves, but he loved them, and made me feel beautiful ;D
What I'm saying though is that most women will SAY that they don't like that look because they think the guys won't be feeling them. A fat ass has nothing to lose...they know they aren't up to par. Not to mention it's seen as culturally disgusting,so folks feel they have to conform, and say it too.

To be honest I find older women are absolutely fascinated by me , I have been hit on at supermarkets , malls , garage stations all by older women , once i had a older women 45 I am guessing ask me to go home with her at a supermarket , I stooped and asked her if she new of a certain ingredient to a dish i was cooking , and she proceeded to chat me up then hit me with the big question !!!

I have been told by alot of females that i have taken bodybuilding too far and that my physique is no longer attractive, mainly due to size i had one girl who said i had gorrilla like shoulders and arms. So i think there is apoint when being very muscular can be off putting to most women.
I have had a few girls who dont mind the bodybuilding look but they were fitness fanatics themselves. As someone mentioned before i also find that girls my own age (25 and under) perceive me as meanicing, too big and grumpy looking but most females 35 and up think i'm adorable, cute and nice. I find this very confusing alot of the time.

Both younger and older women love muscles. Older women aren't afraid to show it though, they also don't want someone who looks like a little boy. The problem with younger women is that they crave attention more than anything else. They want to be seen and be in the spotlight. If she is with a muscular guy who is in great shape she will have to share her "stage" with him. They usually have low self-esteem hence the craving for attention, they are conscious about their bodies and are intimidated by a guy who is in better shape than them beacuse it lowers their perception of themselves. Older women, (30-45 is my favorite range) simply don't care and are no longer imprisoned by society's unspoken rules and expectations. They realize that they don't have that much time left while they still look great so they want to take advantage of it.

It's all a matter of preference. I don't think very many women find Jay Cutler attractive...but on the other hand many women find Richard Jones extremely attractive. Acne from steroids isn't cute either...and neither is walking around with imaginary lat syndrome or flexing in front of a girl thinking she'll find it hot.

A couple of women at work saw a pic of Flex Wheeler (hands on hips pose) while I was reading a thread. And told me if i ever looked like that they would be disgusted. And he is not even that big. And that has been the general consensus ever since college.
I remember this one fat chick in college would spend all her money going to the strip clubs in Baltimore just to see muscular men, and she told me, that there mostly big women there...grabbing on what they could not have.

That all depends there my friend. In my past experiences, women are attracted to muscle. If you go to a bar or club who has all the ladies around him?? Who's getting checked out constantly as he walks down the street or through the mall? The muscular guy...not the average "Joe" with tone. If anything, women are intimdated by a muscular guy because they are in fear of rejection or they seem to assume that he only likes fit women. A lot has to do with insecurity on the female.

I see you but the thing is that most women who are "normal" (that is what I am) think they are fat. I know when me and my ex got together I was convinced that he only wanted some muscle babe or supermodel. I didn't think he would go for my curves, but he loved them, and made me feel beautiful ;D

I wanted to add guys...Just don't focus on your bodies. Work on your presentation as well. A lot of the hot bodybuilders that women like (i.e. Richard Jones) have nice skin and a well done haircut. Pay attention to things like that as well. You don't have to get all metrosexual with it, but just basic grooming.

Any plan that has two vacation homes(one at the beach, and one in the country) in the future is A+ for attracting a beautiful woman. Woman like to nest and the more homes they can decorate and have guests and parties at the more likely they will stay with you. Or say becoming a local politician, you may not have money but you will be going to a lot of dinner parties and having lots of friends. That is good too.

Especially women who are financially stable and can take care of their own material things.
When you are out of your 20s, have a better understanding of what you want in life and what is important.

That all depends there my friend. In my past experiences, women are attracted to muscle. If you go to a bar or club who has all the ladies around him?? Who's getting checked out constantly as he walks down the street or through the mall? The muscular guy...not the average "Joe" with tone. If anything, women are intimdated by a muscular guy because they are in fear of rejection or they seem to assume that he only likes fit women. A lot has to do with insecurity on the female.

However that being said....bodybuilders usually pull some nice ass, (at least around here in Venice), and I think this is due to projection.
See women have no concept of physical attraction....attraction always starts first with an emotonal response...and after that the guy will become attractive regardless of what he looks like. (Within reason of course...if you are obesse this will probably not work).
If the male bodybuilder is happy about the way he looks, and it causes him to project more confidence then he will pull more action.
Also I have noticed that getting laid is a lot easier while on the juice...not really sure why this is, but it seems like you project your self in a much more intense matter... perhomones etc... just a theory, but I have noticed this to be true.

Why is this so hard to accept? We tend to give women too much credit, or at least we don't accept the fact that there are certain biological differences in the way the two genders are wired.
For example... if one were to parade a bunch of naked men in front of the average female, she will not be able to look at them all and say, "Oh I like the girth of his penis more then his, or the shape of his pecs over the others." Now if her boyfriend, husband, etc, were in the lineup, then she would most likely find his physical features the most attractive.
Of course with guys....we can dissect to the most subtle detail of what we like and don't.... I.E. the shape/size of her ass,legs, facial features etc, etc.
The point here is that men are MUCH more aesthetically minded then women are, this is just a fact. This is also why bodybuilding appeals almost strictly to men, (both gay, and straight). It is because we are able to analyze, and assess a physique, in the same way we would a statue, or other work of art.

I think every hetero guy desires to talk to and be with women. The problem is that most guys are too outcome dependent and because of past or current failures, or even because of not understanding how attracting women works, they automatically give up by rationalizing their failures with things like "women are too complicated" or just deep, underlying negativity towards women in general.
You say you are just indifferent these days... Well, that is the correct attitude to have when approaching women; being indifferent to whether or not they like you. As for not even caring to the point where you do not even want to speak to them, well, I don't believe you on that one. I think you are just frustrated. And I am sure of this because at one point in time I used to think that I didn't care when I did and it bothered me a lot. What I did was let go of my frustrations and started talking to women not for attraction but for general talk with an attitude of polite indifference. The results were so different than in the past, so gradually I started adopting this new philosophy. One where I don't worry that much and view women as a source of pleasure and don't care what they honestly think of me.

I think I just have different priorities at the moment, none of which have to do with women.
