Lasts come with Lobbs.  I have a few pair lying around and am looking to get rid of some.

I am miffed that I missed out on a Cleverly made with Russian leathers from the wreck of the Metta Catharina in 1786.  They sold before I had a chance to hear back on the store if I would be a proper fit.

Also, I am much, much better at Antiquing than your standard Lobb in Museum Finish.  I usually spend a few hours hand antiquing and have had quite dramatic results.  I would love to study under Berlutti or Stefano Bemer as Daniel Day Lewis did and learn the entire craft.

I`d go with an Indy Boot or Wolverine`s new 1000 mile boot if I were you based on your needs perhaps.  Not only will either of these last forever, they are insanely comfortable and both can be sent for repair so in effect these will last a lifetime.  You will be pleased with either and you will not be smashing the piggy bank.


In my opinion, Lobbs are overrated and I would rather have a Henry Maxwell boot or a Berlutti or Vass any day over Slobb I mean Lobb.
