Softie Stanton goes down again.... so they call up Tauchman and not Frazier?

That’s crazy.

Stanton + Ellsbury  == all star fragile team = $$$$$$

I can deal without Stanton's 2+ strikeouts a game and his solo homers when they're already up 8

WOW

and I called it on Paxton..... guy is a b-u-m

Can’t say I didn’t enjoy the way way the games turned out.   Good to see the Sox’ pen doing what we all thought it would pre season.

Games were weird though / something was amiss.

That and their offense seems to be firing on all cylinders now.  Maybe the Yankee's will do a late August deal.  Waiver/non waiver deadline whatever the fuck that means.

The waiver deal option was taken off the table for the first time starting this year.

Teams are what they are.

Still don't know how the Mets were able to steal Stroman

Rather him pitching than Happ or Paxton

Teams are what they are.

When your hometown team (Tigers) have 30 wins, it's easy not to follow along.  LOL.

AAV for luxury tax is $21M, so they aren't.

But am sick of him being hurt.

I hear you.

I figured NY would be down 2-1 before the series based on the matchups.

BUT, it's really frustrating for them to be so close in both losses, where one thing could have changed the game.

Didi missed a grand slam by a very small margin....etc......it's tough.

Beating Houston was always going to be a tall order.

1st loss was all on Boone imo

and 2nd one was just brutal as you can't leave 9 men on base against ANY team in the playoffs and expect to even have a chance to win that game no matter who is pitching

I put second loss more on Boone due to the stupidity of batting Gardner third and dropping Torres.  What did he do wrong in game 2?

Took out Green when he was dominating.... used WAY too many pitchers WAY too fast and had no choice but to throw HAPP at the end.

I guess he did get too cute with the pen.

But I put that on Ottavino more.

And Sanchez and EE.
