just thinking of what it will become, will it finally go mainstream? will AS be legal in the future? what will bodybuilders look like? Just where will bodybuilding go as far as a sport and business?

Let's see.
There's been a huge uptake in amateur shows popularity (record entries in 2007 believe it or not)
But pro show popularity is dropping...
To all the bitches screaming drug "testing" etc.. never gonna happen; it's a "show" not a contest..
Pro bodybuilding will simply have a shift from a "federation based" "sport" to a fully sponsored "events" much like a supplement "trade show" with "models" demonstrating the products. Much like "Summit racing" car shows etc...
The industry driving it (supplements that is) is growing at a 8-12% yearly rate. Better than many sectors.

I see some serious cellar dwelling going down in the future for bodybuilding.
