Saw HBO was showing a movie Saturday night called 'The Wizard of Lies'.  I thought fuck, they turned Nasser's book into a movie.  Was all excited.  had Popcorn, tren, lotion and tissues ready for the reveal of GH15, steroids etc...  Then it turns out to be a fucking movie about Bernie Madoff.  Fuck you HBO.

The flick was ok, but Deniro sucked. He played the same exact character he plays in every movie. It was like Bernie Madoff was being impersonated by Jimmy Conway from Goodfellas.

The biggest crime was the line that he acted alone with a few family members. Every single person working in his huge company knew what they were doing was criminal. The gains (profits from investments) were something any low level professional in the business could figure out was a scam. What was amazing was that he got away with the pyramid for so long.  Even many of the investors knew it was a scam. They just wanted to put their money in and remove it before the pyramid collapsed.
