You an almost no one else voted for Ross Perot in 1992. Apparently, he was wrong to think he had more than a snowball's chance in hell to win the Presidency. If you are approximately thirty years younger than I am, you still have a lot to learn.

Yup he did, which amounted to almost 670,000 votes as compared to Clinton with 45 million votes and Bush with 39 million votes.

In 1992 Ross Perot ran as an Independent and got 19,741,657 popular votes (18.9%). In 1996 Ross Perot ran for President representing the Reform party and got 8,085,402 popular votes (8.4%). Neither time did he get any electoral votes. I have no clue how I came up with 670,000 votes. It is not even a typo or autocorrect error. Geeze, maybe I am becoming senile. Is senility contagious? Could I have caught it while watching the Biden verses Trump debate fiasco?

I don't ever criticize or condemn anyone who takes responsibility for a mistake. We all make them. It's the people who cannot acknowledge mistakes that have a serious problem.
