From everything I have read about this thus far, I agree with you. Even the families of the fallen have considerable rules about what is appropriate and what isn't at Arlington Cometary. There is even a guide for appropriate attire for family visiting Arlington. Families must apply for permanent passes which also come with restrictions.

What surprises me is that the folks managing Trump's campaign did not look into the nuisances of basically shooting a Trump campaign promotion at Arlington Cemetery prior to doing it. Who knows, maybe they did and in Trump fashion decided the rules did not apply to them or Trump. The heck with rules, we do what we want.
